Custom office furniture and counters made on Oahu

This is our latest project where we worked for a local office in downtown Honolulu replacing an existing laminate counter with a live edge monkeypod countertop and building a matching coffee table.

Monkeypod dining table just delivered!

Monkeypod dining tables have been our customers’ go-to when it comes to renovation or freshening up their home decor. Over the weekend, we just delivered a monkeypod table and a matching bench to a local family on Oahu.

Bar height dining table

We custom designed and built this bar height dining table for a family who were looking for a table that they can not only use to dine but also to use as a standing desk. It measures L84” x D38” x H42”. The top was built using two bookmatched pieces of monkeypod slabs.

Custom walnut bed in Honolulu

Here is our latest walnut bed set. We take pride in the design, craftsmanship, and durability of our custom furniture. It showcases a playful design with interesting joinery work on the bed frame and night stands. It features a beautiful custom headboard made of white Italian genuine leather.

Coffee table and side table

Coffee tables made of local Hawaiian monkeypod slabs. One is a triangular coffee table with one live edge. The other coffee table is made of a cross cut monkeypod slab.

Monkeypod tables in Hawaii

Monkeypod wood tables are something we specialize in here at Satoshi Yamauchi Woodworks. All of our work is handcrafted in Honolulu Hawaii. Monkeypod slabs make excellent dining tables. Wood slab tables allow us to tell the story of a fallen tree by showcasing its full width of the trunk. Our monkeypod slabs have been sustainably harvested from fallen Hawaiian trees.

Wood table metal legs

Here is our monkeypod wood slab table matched with black steel legs. The slab top was made from a local hawaiian monkeypod slab. The steel metal legs were designed and built in Hawaii too. All of our custom furniture is made here locally in Hawaii.

Matching coffee table and media console

Monkeypod dining table

This wood and stainless steel dining set was a collaboration of ultra-modern Italian design and Hawaiian nature. The slab top has been sourced locally in the North Shore of Oahu. The metal bases are made in Honolulu using brushed stainless steel.
