Coffee tables
Here at Satoshi Yamauchi Woodworks, we make a lot of coffee tables. Here is a monkeypod slab coffee table we built out of a single monkeypod slab, salvaged from the west coast of Oahu. The monkeypod slab is consistently wide at around 29” - 30” (width) with clean live edge on both long edges. This is a somewhat hard-to-find slab because of those sought after characteristics.
This slab was also kiln dried by an experienced sawyer meaning, it has been dried to a very high standard. There are no wet spots often seen in DIY “kiln” dried slabs.
